De overheid wil dat in 2040 alle Nederlanders tenminste vijf jaar langer in goede gezondheid leven. Daarnaast moet de ziektelast door een ongezonde leefstijl en -omgeving met 30% zijn afgenomen. Om deze doelen te realiseren, worden leefstijl en de focus op preventie nog belangrijker. Door gezond te leven kun je aandoeningen sterk be\u00efnvloeden. Een gezonde leefstijl aanmoedigen, is dus heel belangrijk. Een stimulans die nodig is om ons zorgstelsel duurzaam te houden. De nadruk op welzijn in plaats van ziek-zijn.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Van spreekkamer naar huiskamer<\/h3>\n

Om de stap te maken van ‘spreekkamer naar huiskamer’ hebben we iedereen nodig, zegt Hanneke Molema. Wim Tilburgs benadrukt dat we niet alleen een transitie van de gezondheidszorg, of eerder ziekenzorg, nodig hebben maar\u00a0 vooral een maatschappelijke transitie. De droom van Wim is om de enorme groei van het aantal diabetespati\u00ebnten te stoppen en zelfs om te keren. Hoewel het volgens Wim om veel meer dan alleen diabetes gaat, is diabetes type 2 het prototype van een leefstijl gerelateerde aandoening en moeten we veel meer met de onderliggende oorzaak ervan aan de slag. Niet als individu, want het is geen ‘eigen schuld, dikke bult, maar met elkaar als maatschappij, aldus Hanneke. Daar werken we met 2diabeat hard aan in de wijken. Samen stoppen we de opmars van diabetes type 2.<\/p>\n
